What To Wear!
Recruitment is a fun and great opportunity to meet new people and find where you belong! Finding the perfect outfit for each day can be difficult and stressful! Here you will find some tips and suggestions for each day! At Emporia State we do not have a dress code for recruitment. We want those going through recruitment to be able to focus on making life long friendships and finding a place to call home!
Tips and Tricks
Be Comfortable
Its important to be comfortable in your clothes! That way you can focus on building relationships and finding where you belong!
Be Creative
Pick clothes that repersent you and show off your personality!
Use Your Closet
There is no need to go out and buy three new outfits just for recruitment. Go through your closet before you go shopping!
Plan ahead
Lay out your outfits in advance. With the first week of school and recruitment happening all at once planning ahead can really help you stay on top of things!
Keep it Classy
You want to try to make a good impression and it is important that you let your personality shine through. A classy outfit can help make that happen!
Orientation is a casual event with just the woment participating in recruitment and the Rho Gammas. Its impotant to be comfortable at orientation and wear something that makes you feel comfortable and can play some games in. Athletic shorts and a T-shirt are great for this day but you are always welcome to dress up more if you would like! House Tours and Values day is your chance to make a great first impression! Be sure to wear something that looks nice and represents you! We suggest a nice top and some shorts or jeans. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes because you will be walking to each house and going on a tour of each one! Sisterhood day is a chance to expereince a chapters sisterhood! The chapters each have some fun activities planned. Be sure to wear clothes you can move around in. Prefence Tea is the most formal day of recruitment! We suggest that you wear a nice sundress or skirt. Be sure to still wear shoes that you can easily walk to the houses in! Below are a few of the Rho Gammas demonstrating what they would wear to Preference Tea!
